The Evaluation Trader is allowed to go through the Evaluation Phase for up to 6 months to accommodate various trading strategies.
If 6 months have passed, and the Evaluation Trader has not reached the Profit Target $ yet, LCT will terminate the funded account, and the Evaluation Trader will be disqualified.
The Evaluation Trader needs to have at least 30 Active Trading Days throughout the Evaluation Phase.
The Active Trading Days are NOT calendar days.
An Active Trading Day is a day the Evaluation Trader opens a new trade on a new day.
For example, if the Evaluation Trader opens EURUSD trade on Monday, and closes the same trade on Thursday, this counts as 1 Active Trading Day. The Active Trading Day that counts is the day that EURUSD was opened and not the full duration of the trade.
The Evaluation Trader must have a Stop Loss placed as soon as possible for every and each pending limit order, stop order, and/or market order and for all open trades.
The Evaluation Trader must have a Max Stop Loss of 1.5% of the Initial Account Balance for every market order, pending order, or stop order.
Any trades closed without a Stop Loss will be considered a violation of our risk management guidelines.
If the funded trader opens multiple positions on the same currency pair, each position’s risk can be up to 1.5% of the initial account balance. So, the funded trader can open multiple positions with a 1.5% risk each. So, for example, if you wanted to risk 3% on a trade, you can split the risk into 2 positions, each 1.5% risk but you cannot risk 3% into one position.
Formula: Max Risk Per Position = 1.5% x Initial Account Balance.
The Max Loss for the Portfolio Managers is a 5% Absolute Drawdown (fixed loss) from the Initial Balance.
The fixed loss is defined as a 5% Loss of the Initial Account Balance (Not Relative).
The losses can never exceed 5% of the Initial Account Balance.
Formula: Stop Out Level $ = Initial Account Balance – (5% x Initial Account Balance).
Example
If you are on a $10K Standard Evaluation. The stop-out level based on the 5% Fixed loss would be $10,000 – (5% x $10,000) = $9,500. So, the funded trader would not lose the account until the account balance or equity hits $9,500.
If you maintain 2% profit per moth you can use FREE online trading platform otherwise there is a fee £49 per month for LCT funded traders as long as funded account is active.
